Calling: To spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through music ministries. To lift up, encourage and hopefully bless God's children. |

Experience: 19 years of singing Southern Gospel Music. |
Goals: To go where God leads, and to keep Christ first. |
Foundation: We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God; that God sent His son, Jesus Christ, through a virgin birth to shed His blood and die in our place for our sins that we may be saved, if we believe and accept Him as our Lord and Savior, and that He rose from the grave the third day with victory over sin, death, and the grave. |
Incorporation: God led the original group members to form a non-profit organization. Most of the board members are former members of the Song of Glory, whom were called to other ministries, but remain a part of the group and its ministry through their love, advice, prayers, and support. The annual meeting becomes a regular family reunion! We celebrated the Song of Glory's 20 Year Reunion on February 3, 2001 and it was fabulous! No member benefits financially from the groups efforts. We all have separate jobs, and our group participation is a calling each answered and is committed to. Even the original songs are offerings. It is a labor of love, in God's service... |

Responsibilities: BRUCE is really the backbone...not to mention the bus driver, mechanic, route planner, soundman, emcee, and president. That comes from all those years of experience...he just knows what's got to be done and gets it done. Bruce plays six and twelve string guitar, bass, and runs the sound board. He sings tenor or whatever's left over. DEBY: our computer whiz! She takes care of all the data base records keeping, makes our flyers, some original buttons for our table, brochures, business cards, etc, and helps with bookings, and her public relations ain't bad either! She sings harmony, lead and has written several songs we can't wait to get into our practices. She also plays six and twelve string guitar, and the piano. GAY: Sings lead, harmony and plays six and twelve string guitar. She answers the phones and e-mails and is acting treasurer. Gay is working on another original tee shirt design to represent one of our original songs. She also does research and development on the songs we sing. |

Thoughts about the new tape: We're very excited about At Gethsemane. Every song speaks to our hearts, and it is our hope that others will feel the same way. Deby's original song, and title song on the tape, is a tough song to sing without a whole lot of emotion pouring out of you. And Gay has been singing Thank You Jesus, to the kids since they were little bitty! She's never even heard it with anything but her guitar until we started singing it. And Love one Another, is another original by Jerry Rogers that ministers encouragement straight from the scriptures. We have been working on a new project that we hope will be ready
around January 1st.

We are not a big name group...Frankly, that isn't even our goal.
